Double Chin Removal - Face Lift Alternative

Chin, Neck, and Jowls Liposculpture

Diet and exercise play a heavy role in the features of our face, but for some of us, doing everything right still cannot achieve the results we are looking for. Getting a much smoother and more defined jaw line with chin liposculpture can truly make a world of difference for your face and you won't have to bother with painful injections or other artificial enhancers.

So many people are bothered by their "double chin" or turkey neck".  These unwanted features can make a person look older or heavier than they actually are.  Patients can see immediate and drastic results without the downtime or scars that you may find with a face lift or facial reconstruction.  This procedure can also help tighten and tone the neck and facial features.

At Pacific Liposculpture, our advanced liposculpture procedure can significantly improve unsightly neck rolls, bulging jowls or double chins. If you want to look younger, thinner, or have a more defined jaw line, Pacific Liposculpture is right for you.

I would never even consider going anywhere else. Rod Davis is the best in the world of lipo. I first saw him for removal of my double chin--the results were amazing! The same weekend, I got a perm, and when I returned to work, some of my co-workers did not even recognize me!

Reshape Your Tummy With Abdominal Liposculpture

Are you tired of exercising and dieting without seeing any changes to your shape? Nearly every fitness infomercial or magazine leads us to believe that we are only 90 days from the perfect body as long as we do a million perfect sit-ups and by eating minuscule portions of broiled flavorless chicken breast.

Your personal trainer would most likely prefer to see you sweating it out over the next 3 years, but that is not necessary for most people. Abdominal Liposculpture/Liposuction is a procedure that can be performed safely under local anesthesia while providing results that can be much more dramatic than exercise or dieting. At Pacific Liposculpture, we specialize in awake liposculpture procedures using micro-incisions through the skin.  These procedures provide great patient safety, minimal downtime, and dramatic results.

View before and after photos of Pacific Lipo patients. All before and after photos shown are of actual Pacific Lipo patients and each procedure was performed by Rod Davis, PA-C (Physician Assistant-Certified). Rod Davis is a licensed and certified PA as well as Pacific Lipo’s Director of Surgery. He has performed over 15,000 liposculpture procedures.

If you or a loved one are interested in abdominal liposculpture, love handle and flanks liposculpture, thigh liposculpture, chin liposculpture, back bra liposculpture, pubic liposculpture, buffalo hump liposculpture, or male chest liposculpture, please contact Pacific Lipo in San Diego, California for a complimentary consultation at (858) 427-8899. An Honest Opinion - Liposculpture

A key aspect to any healthy relationship is honesty.  That's why each one of our relationships at Pacific Lipo begin with an honest opinion and consultation.   It's our responsibility to offer anyone who walks through the door an honest opinion if the liposculpture (lipo) procedure would or would not be a good fit for them, as any health provider or cosmetic office should.  It is important to us that our patients have realistic expectations and a solid understanding of what our procedure can provide for them.

Consultations are the perfect opportunity to meet the staff at Pacific Lipo and see the facility where procedures are performed.  Consultations are conducted with Pacific Lipo's Director of Surgery, Rod Davis, PA-C, and allow for an individual to learn if the liposculpture procedure is right for them.  During a consultation Davis will address a patient's concerns and problem areas.

Occasionally we have people who inquire about the liposculpture technique that would not be considered a good candidate.   This could be due to skin elasticity, unrealistic expectations, health, or a number of other reasons.  Although this news can be disappointing, it's important to Pacific Lipo that we are able  to make our patients happy and help them to improve their shape and their life.

We recently had a visitor from Northern California who was excited about the lipo procedure. After meeting with Rod Davis, PA-C, and receiving his opinion, she decided upon an alternative route to improve her shape.  She was grateful that Davis took the time to explain to her other options and that she didn't feel pressured into making a decision she may regret later on.  Read about her experience here:

"I came to Pacific Lipo after my appointment with a different practice had been canceled. On very short notice they did all they could to squeeze me in on the shedule. The staff was more than friendly and extremely helpful. The office was very professional. I finally made my way to my visit and was pleasantly suprised with the honesty and genuine care exhibited by the [Director of Surgery], Rod. He advised me that my situation was not best suited for lipo. I was paid in full and ready to go, but his honest opinion stopped me from making what could have been a huge mistake. No other doctor cared enough to keep it real with me. I was a little sad and disappointed that I couldn't move forward with a nip and sip, but I'm glad things worked out the way they did. I would definitely recommend Rod, Stephanie, Letty, Becky and the whole practice to anyone considering having lipo done! :)"

My Story for Free Lipo - Trina B.

It is our goal at Pacific Lipo to help patients achieve a new image that reshapes the way they live. Each day in our office we see happy patients who are thankful for the work we’ve done. They share their personal stories with us about how liposculpture has had a positive impact on their lives. Pacific Lipo is extremely fortunate and grateful for having such great friends and clients.

To say thank you, we would like to give back - Pacific Lipo offered a third free lipo

contest. Our Director of Surgery and lipo specialist, Rod Davis, PA-C, has helped thousands of people reshape the way they live and we would love to help more.

Pacific Lipo is excited to announce Trina B. as our 3rd winner for our Free Lipo contest!  Trina has participated in our contest twice and has received a touching amount of support from her family and friends.  Trina has a story that many of our patients share.  She struggled with her military career due to her inability to stay within body standards.   Unable to change her shape with diet and exercise, Trina turned to Pacific Lipo for help.

Read more about Trina and her story for Free Lipo...

Hello my name is Katharina, Trina for short.  I have always struggled with weight.  I was always ok with my looks, but always wished I weighed less like all my friends.  I guess it just ran in the family.  When I got older I decided to join the military to serve my country and do something greater with my life than the dental schooling I had just completed, something important.  I weighted a little too much to join, so all I ate was salad for about two months and ran every day.  I barely got down to my max weight for my 5’4” height which was 154 lbs.  I looked good but as soon as I went to boot camp and worked out so much that I needed the three meals a day they let us eat and ate what I could I gained a lot of weight again.  By the time I was done with my schooling I was back up about 15 lbs. M y whole naval career (which was about three and a half years) I struggled with weight.  I weight too much and every single time weigh ins came around I could pass my exercise portion but struggled with the weigh in and tape.  My problem areas got me every single time.  Of course I had to work out, and never ate a lot but still, I struggled with my weight.  IT was so depressing, and working around a bunch of male sailors I got teased a lot.  My husband who happens to just be in shape can tell me as much as he wants that I look ok, but it still hurts me.  I did exceptionally well in my navy years but eventually I got separated for failure to control my weight.  This happened about a month and a half ago, and was crushing.  I didn't give up, I still run every day and eat even better than I used to but still struggle.  I just don’t know what to do anymore besides try to live a healthy lifestyle.  I've given up everything I like and tasted good including alcohol.  This is very depressing on top of the discouraging fact that I cannot lose my weight.  If I could just get rid of the fat on my stomach and hips I could be happy, and I’m sure it would stay off since I live a pretty healthy lifestyle.  I hope you guys take my story in consideration.  My friends humored me a little, but it doesn't hurt to try now does it?
Thanks much,
Trina

"I had my procedure done today. I was so nervous, but the entire staff made me feel like family and comfortable. They were also very helpful the entire time, constantly making sure that i felt comfy. During the surgery, Rod made sure i was ok and engaged in conversation with me to distract me from any discomfort i may have felt. Everyone is so friendly, but professional at the same time. All my needs were met, and they made sure i was ok before i left. One of the girls even helped me carry my stuff to my car :). I definitely recommend pacific lipo to everyone who is seeking a place to go get lipo at. You will get the professional results you are looking for, at a reasonable price. I wish I could give more than 5 stars :)"

SMART Goal Setting for New Years Resolutions

Need some help managing your New Years Resolutions?  Follow these tips and see what the Pacific Lipo family hopes to work on in 2013.

Believe it or not, the holiday season has flown by and 2013 is already here!  This is the time of year for people to make (not break!) their New Years Resolutions.  Weight loss and healthy eating are among some of the most popular goals that are made, however they can also be some of the hardest to maintain.  Here are some tips on how you can set your New Years Resolutions and follow through!

Set SMART goals this New Years.

  • S = Specific
  • M = Measurable
  • A = Attainable
  • R = Realistic
  • T = Timely
  • SPECIFIC

Be specific about your goals!  What exactly do you what to change and how are you going to do it?  Don't just say "eat healthy" - what exactly in your diet needs to change? How are you going to do it?

    MEASURABLE

Set goals that can be measured, that way it will be easier for you to manage and track your progress to see if you have followed through.

    ATTAINABLE

Let's be real folks, make a resolution that you can attain!  It is easy to lose motivation when your resolution is out of reach.

    REALISTIC

Your goals should be something that you can achieve, whether that is financial, physically, or mentally.  This goes hand-in-hand with setting Attainable goals.

    TIMELY

Your resolution should follow a time line.  Instead of saying "I want to lose 10 lbs this year" set a goal to lose 2 pounds each month.  Not only will it seem more attainable, but it will help you follow your resolution all year long!

Here are some of the 2013 Resolutions from the Pacific Lipo Family.  Now that we have the basic idea down, we are going work on making these SMART resolutions!

    Try New Foods
"I'm a sassy mama with a Hispanic background and I love my Mexican food, but I'm starting to realize that I'm missing out on a lot of other good stuff!  My goal for 2013 is to try new foods and expand my horizons.  Step 1: Sushi.  Reservations are set for Monday, here I come!" -Letty

Focus on Toning - More Squats!
"I work in an amazing office with amazing coworkers and clients.  I'm constantly talking with people on how to improve body image and I get some great tips myself!  I personally would like to work more on toning  my gluteus maximus, aka my booty!" -Stef

Spend Less Time at Home and More Time Exploring New Places
"Here I am living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country and I keep catching myself going to the same places and doing the same things.  This year I want to take advantage of my surroundings and improve my quality of life - I want to spend less time at home and more time exploring new places, especially outdoors.  Ever heard of Three Sisters Waterfalls? I'm checking it out next week!" -Becky

Benefits of Liposculpture Under Local Anesthesia vs General Anesthesia

    by Rod Davis, PA-C
    Director of Surgery, Pacific Liposculpture

Liposculpture under local anesthesia is the safest way to have liposuction. However, there are some people who may find it more uncomfortable than most other patients. I once performed a procedure on a patient who shared with me (after starting her procedure) that she always has difficulty when going to her dentist and requires multiple injections of the anesthetic to complete her dental procedures. Such people are commonly referred to as “lidocaine resistant” and may have a more comfortable experience if they were under general anesthesia (sleeping). However, general anesthesia is less safe and much more expensive. There were a handful of times when we stopped for a few minutes to add extra anesthetic during this person’s procedure but this is expected. She was still able to complete her procedure and even drive herself home afterwards. She scheduled another procedure in our office immediately afterwards : )

Many members of our staff, including myself, have had a lipoosculpture procedure. Most patients anticipate that lipo will not be a completely pain-free event for every patient but neither is laser hair removal, waxing, Botox, dental procedures, etc. So like many other procedures, one should have some expectation of momentary discomfort but most patients are pleasantly surprised.

The numbing phase tends to be the only uncomfortable part but normally just last for 5-10 minutes. Anyone can view website videos of actual patients having the same procedure that this person had but they are clearly comfortable and experiencing no pain while having their problem areas reshaped. Please visit Pacific Lipo's YouTube Channel to see patients having a procedure.

As for the incisions, we do not use stitches which allows for a couple of days of drainage (lessens swelling and bruising). Therefore, the incisions are still a little stretched immediately following the procedure. They normally heal about the size of a freckle and sometimes fade significantly but that takes some time. The incisions do shrink, bruising does fade, and the discomfort usually passes after a 2-6 weeks. To view before and photos of what incisions and results may look like immediately after our procedures (1 week later, 1 month, and several months after) , please visit www.PacificLipo.com.

    Inner & Outer Thigh Liposculpture

Too embarrassed to wear shorts?  Tired of your thighs rubbing together?

If you answered yes to the above, then you should consider thigh liposculpture.  No matter how much exercise you do or how closely you watch your diet, most women are simply genetically predisposed to accumulate fat in the thighs and legs.  Occasionally, some men struggle with the same problem.

Inner and outer thigh liposculpture is specifically designed for people who want to get rid of flabby thighs, saddlebags, and inner thighs that rub together.  You can choose to live with the genetic hand that was dealt to you, or you can treat the problem permanently with liposculpture.  Pacific Liposculpture’s quick and easy procedure will remove fat and tighten the skin, giving you smaller, smoother and younger looking legs.  So why wait?  Many people can return to work the following day with not only slimmer, sleeker thighs, but a renewed outlook on life and an improved self-image.
