Just simply fill out our Patient Testimonials form or email us at info@pacificlipo.com with your testimonial and photos of you before and after the procedure.

“I just want to thank you for giving me my confidence back! I’ve been self conscious about my cheeks for over 8 years. After having my son, it seemed like I couldn’t lose the weight no matter what I did, and even if I toned my body, my cheeks were still fat. I’m not even all the way healed yet, but I wanted to show you a couple pictures of the dramatic change. (before and after) This has helped my self esteem so much that it’s helped me and my husband’s love life. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks a million.”

Many men and women alike struggle with different problem areas that won't go away with diet and exercise.  Of the many areas, the pubic mound is one of the hardest to get rid of on your own.  This fat cushion that protrudes can be very uncomfortable and embarrassing, especially for women.

Gynecomastia - Minimizing "Man Boobs"

Male Chest Liposculpture

I had a chest reduction procedure and I am very happy with the result!! … I highly recommend them - two thumps up!!   - Frank from Santa Monica, CA

Many men struggle with enlarged breasts, also known as gynecomastia or "man boobs". It can be very difficult for these individuals to lose the fat with just diet or exercise. This emasculating look can be embarrassing for men, whether their shirt is on or off. The liposculpture procedure is able to permanently remove the fat cells in this area and significantly reduce the breast size. This patient lost 3 inches from his chest shortly after his procedure. Results continued to improve as his body heals and swelling decreases.

All chest liposuction procedures are performed by our Director of Surgery, Rod Davis, PA-C.  Call a patient coordinator at (858) 427-8899 to schedule a complimentary consultation with Rod.  You can also visit Pacific Lipo for more Before and After Photos of the male chest.

A Life Changing Experience

After having 2 babies back to back and a c section, my new shape was difficult to adjust to and very resistant to diet and exercise. It was impacting my enjoyment of life. I made the decision to have liposuction on a trip to San Diego from Canada with my husband. I emailed my pictures to every clinic in La Jolla and beyond, only to hear I needed a tummy tuck from over half of the board certified plastic surgeons. I was not at all interested in having such a major surgery, such a large scar, greater risk and pain, huge cost, and I could not care for my toddlers with that length of recovery time. I was not convinced they were right. I saw the photo gallery on Pacific Lipo and I knew they could help me. I found Pacific Lipo had the best reviews, best photos, the most informed staff, and even though I was skeptical at first about having the procedure done by someone who is not a board certified surgeon, I realized I didn't need a surgeon. Surgeons are trained to cut. And most surgeons do a multitude of different procedures each week.
Liposuction is an art that requires great skill, and Rod Davis has mastered this art. It is all he does and I venture to say he is the best.
This is truly life changing for anyone who is living uncomfortably with excess stubborn fat. Rod and his staff are beyond helpful, professional, and pleasant. Rod did my abdomen, hips and flanks and I am so happy with my results and it's improving even more each day. He did my chin as well and the result was instant and incredible.
Thank you Pacific Lipo! You're an amazing team! Yelp.com

Reshape Your Tummy With Abdominal Liposculpture

Are you tired of exercising and dieting without seeing any changes to your shape? Nearly every fitness infomercial or magazine leads us to believe that we are only 90 days from the perfect body as long as we do a million perfect sit-ups and by eating minuscule portions of broiled flavorless chicken breast.

Your personal trainer would most likely prefer to see you sweating it out over the next 3 years, but that is not necessary for most people. Abdominal Liposculpture/Liposuction is a procedure that can be performed safely under local anesthesia while providing results that can be much more dramatic than exercise or dieting. At Pacific Liposculpture, we specialize in awake liposculpture procedures using micro-incisions through the skin.  These procedures provide great patient safety, minimal downtime, and dramatic results.

View before and after photos of Pacific Lipo patients. All before and after photos shown are of actual Pacific Lipo patients and each procedure was performed by Rod Davis, PA-C (Physician Assistant-Certified). Rod Davis is a licensed and certified PA as well as Pacific Lipo’s Director of Surgery. He has performed over 15,000 liposculpture procedures.

If you or a loved one are interested in abdominal liposculpture, love handle and flanks liposculpture, thigh liposculpture, chin liposculpture, back bra liposculpture, pubic liposculpture, buffalo hump liposculpture, or male chest liposculpture, please contact Pacific Lipo in San Diego, California for a complimentary consultation at (858) 427-8899. If you live out of town, ask us about our virtual consultation option.

Real People. Real Reviews.

Finally made the decision to have procedure done after many years of body image issues.  So glad I chose Pacific Lipo!  Rod is a master at his profession.  I felt very comfortable throughout the process from the first consultation to my last followup.  I would not have gone through the procedure, nor would I be giving such high ratings if I didn't feel comfortable with the staff at Pacific Lipo.  I can finally wear cute summer dresses now that I have a waist again ...Thank you!  - D.A. from San Diego, CA

Products To Avoid

There are products known to thin the blood, slowing the clotting process.  Other products are potentially harmful because of MAO (monoamine oxidase) inhibitory effects.  Some have the effect of lowering serum potassium levels, which can cause abnormal heart rhythms.  Some products impact the liver when general anesthesia is used.  Therefore, starting two weeks before surgery and ending two weeks after, surgery, please do not use the following:

PRODUCTS CONTAINING ASPIRIN
Alka-Seltzer, Anacin, Ascriptin, Bufferin, Contac, Darvon, Ecotrin, Empirin, Excedrin, Fiorinal, Midol, Norgesic, Percodan, Triaminic Vanquish

NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PRODUCTS
Advil, Aleve, Anaprox, Cataflam, Clinorial, Daypro, Dolobid, Duract, Ecotrin, Feldene, Ibuprofen, Indocin, Lodine, Medipren, Motrin, Nalfon, Naprelan, Naproxen, Naprosyn, Nuprin, Orudis, Oruvail, Ponstel, Relafen, Tolectin, Toradol, Voltaren

NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS AND FOODS
Aloe (ingested), Bilberry, Cayenne, Echinacea, Garlic, Ginger, Gingko, PC-SPES, Protein powders containing Vitamin E, Red wine, St John's wort, Vitamin E (Vitamin E is ok in a multiple vitamin, but please do not take extra), Yohimbe

There may be other products that you may need to avoid.  Please contact the office before taking any medications two weeks prior and two weeks after surgery.

Acetaminophen (like Tylenol) is acceptable for headache and pain relief.

Arnica montana (homeopathic medicine) is acceptable for postoperative bruising and swelling.  If Arnica is used, please start after surgery as it thins the blood. Melatonin (hormone) 3mg is acceptable to use as a sleep aide after surgery. Take at bedtime.

DAY OF PROCEDURE
Eat a light breakfast and/or lunch on the day of your procedure; avoid caffeinated products such as coffee, tea, or energy drinks.  It is recommended that patients wear or bring loose and comfortable clothing the day of procedure.

Impact Of Society On Our Bodies

Modern society places a lot of emphasis on shapely bodies through magazines, television,
and social media.  Making those bodies closer to what society perceives as normal can occasionally cause social miracles.  For many people, the inability to have an attractive, youthful shape creates great stress, particularly for those who have tried to improve their figure through diet and exercise.  Liposuction is the most common cosmetic procedure for both men and women to reshape problem areas of the body.

At Pacific Lipo, we understand that genetically, most people cannot reshape their problem areas where fat accumulates without help.  Now there's an affordable, better, safer, and quicker procedure to bring you the confidence you deserve.

After having my procedure done, friends and family were envious to say the least.  My coworker went to Pacific Lipo to have the procedure done a couple weeks ago.  She did the same thing as me, upper and lower abdomen and love handles.  She will NOT stop talking about it.  She's a 39 year old mother of 2 who flashes her new belly to everyone, I have never seen her this happy.  She's like a whole new woman.  Rod is an artist, he's awesome at what he does and truly cares about his patients.  If you're considering lipo then this is the place to go.

FAQs - What Can I Expect After Surgery?

Following your procedure, we will explain your healing process and how to achieve max results.  Since liposculpture is minimally invasive and performed under a local anesthetic, you will be perfectly fine to safely drive yourself home after the procedure.

For a day or two, you can expect to feel tired, as though your body has been through a workout - and it has!  The areas treated will be stiff and sore, and you may experience some discomfort, burning, swelling, bruising or temporary numbness.  The tumescent solution often provides many hours of pain free comfort, and you will be provided with medication to relieve any residual discomfort following your procedure.
You will be wearing a compression garment around the areas treated.  This decreases swelling, helps mold the new shape, and provides support and comfort.  Garments must be worn following the procedure for comfort and to improve results. Duration of garment wear varies on an individual basis and will be determined by our Director of Surgery, Rod Davis PA-C.

Follow up appointments are free and encouraged.  Our team at Pacific Lipo would like to see you during your recovery process and make sure you are getting the best results possible.  Patients usually return 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after their procedure.  If you are coming from out of town, that is not a problem!  Most follow up appointments can be done virtually through email with photos and phone calls.
I just had my 6 month follow up and am still very amazed at my results.  The staff was amazing as usual!  I am so happy that I had another smaller area done.  I was in and out in no time and am already so impressed with the results.  A huge thank you to everyone at Pacific Lipo for bringing back my confidence!   -Lynette M. from San Diego, CA

FAQs - What Is The Recovery Period Like?

During your recovery from a liposculpture procedure, you will be wearing a compression garment around the areas treated.  The garment decreases swelling, helps mold the new shape, and provides support and comfort.  Garments must be worn following the procedure for comfort and to improve results. Duration of garment wear varies on an individual basis and will be determined by Rod Davis, PA-C, Pacific Lipo's Director of Surgery.  Follow up visits with Rod Davis are an important part during the recovery process and always free of charge.

Most of the bruising and swelling should subside within three weeks.  To speed the healing process and to reduce the likelihood of post-operative complications, our staff will advise you to begin light activity as soon as possible.  You should be able to return to work within one or two days if your work is fairly sedentary.  You should avoid strenuous activities for one to two weeks as your body heals, but within two to six weeks you should be able to resume all normal activities.  It's important to continue wearing the compression garment, which should be easily hidden under your clothing, unless instructed to do otherwise by our staff.
There were no surprises and Rod put me at ease with his outstanding bedside manner. It has been almost a month since my procedure and the office staff and Rod have been outstanding with guiding me through the healing process. They are very supportive and are there for me whenever I call with a question. -Jay S. from San Diego, CA

Bridal Lipo - Lose Inches Before The Big Day

    Here comes the bride...
                       ...big, fat, and wide?

Not if Pacific Lipo has anything
to do with it!

As the big day approaches, brides-to-be dedicate the little free time they have to getting the perfect look.  From practicing the perfect up-do, down to the french tips on the toes - brides want to make sure that every detail about them is flawless.

One of the most frustrating parts of the wedding transformation can be getting that "perfect body".  Even on a strict diet and exercise routine, it can seem near impossible to tone your problem areas or go down a size.  Pacific Lipo has a solution for that...
Liposculpture
Liposculpture (lipo) is a minimally invasive technique to permanently remove fat cells from problem areas.  This advanced lipo technique is able to provide immediate results with little to no downtime, which is ideal for any bride who has a list of things to do and plan each day.
Pacific Lipo Patient - Lindsey S.

"After the first day I took my wrappings off to take a shower, I was shocked because I had never seen my stomach look that small.  The results were immediate, even through the swelling I looked amazing!

When I had gone to try on dresses for my wedding, I felt amazing and all my friends saw how I looked and now THEY want to get lipo.  My coworker is actually going there next week to have hers done, too."

~Lindsey S. from Portland, OR

The liposculpture procedure contours the body, providing smoother curves and better definition - just the right look for a wedding gown or honeymoon bikini.

Liposculpture is performed on various parts of the body - including the abdomen, love handles, back, arms, thighs, and chin.  Visit Pacific Lipo's Photo Gallery to view before and after photos of patients.

"I am a bride to be and this is the best money I could spend to get ready for my wedding. I can't wait to take my new body dress shopping!

Thanks again to Rod Davis and the staff at Pacific Liposculpture for being so amazing."

My Story for Free Lipo - Trina B.

It is our goal at Pacific Lipo to help patients achieve a new image that reshapes the way they live. Each day in our office we see happy patients who are thankful for the work we’ve done. They share their personal stories with us about how liposculpture has had a positive impact on their lives. Pacific Lipo is extremely fortunate and grateful for having such great friends and clients.

To say thank you, we would like to give back - Pacific Lipo offered a third free lipo

contest. Our Director of Surgery and lipo specialist, Rod Davis, PA-C, has helped thousands of people reshape the way they live and we would love to help more.

Pacific Lipo is excited to announce Trina B. as our 3rd winner for our Free Lipo contest!  Trina has participated in our contest twice and has received a touching amount of support from her family and friends.  Trina has a story that many of our patients share.  She struggled with her military career due to her inability to stay within body standards.   Unable to change her shape with diet and exercise, Trina turned to Pacific Lipo for help.

Read more about Trina and her story for Free Lipo...

Hello my name is Katharina, Trina for short.  I have always struggled with weight.  I was always ok with my looks, but always wished I weighed less like all my friends.  I guess it just ran in the family.  When I got older I decided to join the military to serve my country and do something greater with my life than the dental schooling I had just completed, something important.  I weighted a little too much to join, so all I ate was salad for about two months and ran every day.  I barely got down to my max weight for my 5’4” height which was 154 lbs.  I looked good but as soon as I went to boot camp and worked out so much that I needed the three meals a day they let us eat and ate what I could I gained a lot of weight again.  By the time I was done with my schooling I was back up about 15 lbs. M y whole naval career (which was about three and a half years) I struggled with weight.  I weight too much and every single time weigh ins came around I could pass my exercise portion but struggled with the weigh in and tape.  My problem areas got me every single time.  Of course I had to work out, and never ate a lot but still, I struggled with my weight.  IT was so depressing, and working around a bunch of male sailors I got teased a lot.  My husband who happens to just be in shape can tell me as much as he wants that I look ok, but it still hurts me.  I did exceptionally well in my navy years but eventually I got separated for failure to control my weight.  This happened about a month and a half ago, and was crushing.  I didn't give up, I still run every day and eat even better than I used to but still struggle.  I just don’t know what to do anymore besides try to live a healthy lifestyle.  I've given up everything I like and tasted good including alcohol.  This is very depressing on top of the discouraging fact that I cannot lose my weight.  If I could just get rid of the fat on my stomach and hips I could be happy, and I’m sure it would stay off since I live a pretty healthy lifestyle.  I hope you guys take my story in consideration.  My friends humored me a little, but it doesn't hurt to try now does it?
Thanks much,
Trina

During the surgery, Rod made sure i was ok and engaged in conversation with me to distract me from any discomfort i may have felt. Everyone is so friendly, but professional at the same time. All my needs were met, and they made sure i was ok before i left. One of the girls even helped me carry my stuff to my car :). SMART Goal Setting for New Years Resolutions

Need some help managing your New Years Resolutions?  Follow these tips and see what the Pacific Lipo family hopes to work on in 2013.

Believe it or not, the holiday season has flown by and 2013 is already here!  This is the time of year for people to make (not break!) their New Years Resolutions.  Weight loss and healthy eating are among some of the most popular goals that are made, however they can also be some of the hardest to maintain.  Here are some tips on how you can set your New Years Resolutions and follow through!

Set SMART goals this New Years.

  • S = Specific
  • M = Measurable
  • A = Attainable
  • R = Realistic
  • T = Timely
  • SPECIFIC

Be specific about your goals!  What exactly do you what to change and how are you going to do it?  Don't just say "eat healthy" - what exactly in your diet needs to change? How are you going to do it?

    MEASURABLE

Set goals that can be measured, that way it will be easier for you to manage and track your progress to see if you have followed through.

    ATTAINABLE

Let's be real folks, make a resolution that you can attain!  It is easy to lose motivation when your resolution is out of reach.

    REALISTIC

Your goals should be something that you can achieve, whether that is financial, physically, or mentally.  This goes hand-in-hand with setting Attainable goals.

    TIMELY

Your resolution should follow a time line.  Instead of saying "I want to lose 10 lbs this year" set a goal to lose 2 pounds each month.  Not only will it seem more attainable, but it will help you follow your resolution all year long!

Here are some of the 2013 Resolutions from the Pacific Lipo Family.  Now that we have the basic idea down, we are going work on making these SMART resolutions!

    Try New Foods
"I'm a sassy mama with a Hispanic background and I love my Mexican food, but I'm starting to realize that I'm missing out on a lot of other good stuff!  My goal for 2013 is to try new foods and expand my horizons.  Step 1: Sushi.  Reservations are set for Monday, here I come!" -Letty

Focus on Toning - More Squats!
"I work in an amazing office with amazing coworkers and clients.  I'm constantly talking with people on how to improve body image and I get some great tips myself!  I personally would like to work more on toning  my gluteus maximus, aka my booty!" -Stef

Spend Less Time at Home and More Time Exploring New Places
"Here I am living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country and I keep catching myself going to the same places and doing the same things.  This year I want to take advantage of my surroundings and improve my quality of life - I want to spend less time at home and more time exploring new places, especially outdoors.  Ever heard of Three Sisters Waterfalls? I'm checking it out next week!" -Becky

    DON'T LET YOUR RESOLUTIONS
